EKU Skills U Program PLC 2019 - 2021
EKU initially planned  to take adult education services to high need rural areas in Madison and Clay counties with “GED Quick Centers.” However, this face-to-face, connection point model shifted to implementing online classes, incoprating a variety of online curricula, while addressing the technology needs of the program’s students through a laptop loan program.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

EKU planned to implement digital curriculum and on-line classrooms as needed for the students to increase MSGs and GEDs. The PLC wanted to address three significant issues: 1) Increase online classes and provide specific training as needed to instructors regarding IXL, Edgenuity, New Readers Press; 2) Implement TABE Online and OP GED; and 3) Review online marketing and increase digital presence  to recruit students.
