Daphne Atkinson

A long time Coach for the Academy, Daphne specializes in exploring how learning occurs: particularly the development of language arts and mathematical reasoning skills. She has also worked with instructors to increase their awareness of research-based strategies that can reduce test anxiety. Currently, she is contributing to the development of the Employability Standards Checklist and following the evolution of high demand workplace skills.

Dee Crescitelli, Ed.D.

Dee Crescitelli leads statewide math education initiatives at the Kentucky Center for Mathematics. She is working to improve mathematics education from pre-K through college. Her teaching experience ranges from elementary through graduate school, adult education, and teacher preparation- threading real numeracy through all those levels. She is currently contributing to the development of our Employability Standards sample skills and employer checklist.

Dr. Patricia Erwin

Patricia Erwin oversees Adult Education strategies and contracts at NCFL. With a background in counseling psychology, adult education theory and practice, and curriculum design, she has been developing and delivering professional development content for adult educators since 2012.

Lindsey has over 15 years of experience in adult education as a tutor, an instructor, a program director, and a coach. She values lifelong learning and collaboration, which is what she hopes the Director PLC fosters among local program directors.

Susan Pitman

Susan Pitman is a veteran adult educator and national trainer who heads E-Learning Connections, Inc. as CEO. Her expertise lies in Adult Basic Education and GED instruction. Pitman collaborates with the GED Testing Service to develop cross-disciplinary professional development programs, enhancing the skills of educators in these fields.
