Mission Statement
To serve as dedicated catalysts for the Kentucky Adult Education community, fostering significant breakthroughs in instruction through data-driven insights and an advanced understanding of curricula and standards. In FY25, we will focus on developing strong relationships with instructors, including supporting Adult Education Math instructors. We will lead content area and Contextualization Professional Learning Communities to develop lessons aligned with Employer Surveys, emphasizing the integration of technology and critical thinking skills. Additionally, we will provide initial reviews and feedback on IET and WPL planning tools submitted by Directors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to adult education.
Vision Statement
To empower Kentucky’s adult education professionals with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to deliver high-quality, research-based instruction. Our vision for FY25 is to foster significant learning gains and improved outcomes for adult learners through strong relationships with instructors and active participation in content area and Contextualization Professional Learning Communities. By creating innovative, technology-integrated lessons that enhance critical thinking and align with workforce needs, we aim to prepare adult learners for success in career and college pathways, cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the educational community.
